Now , let's talk about my obsession , shall we ?
Ever since I watched Thor : The Dark World on 7 November 2013 , I've been a huge fan of Loki and Tom Hiddleston (They're the same person , actually .)
He's such a cool character .
I was obsessed for 3 weeks until I found another charismatic British man, Sherlock Holmes. Well, Benedict Cumberbatch, really.
Officially on 29 November 2013, I started watching the first episode of the first season of Sherlock and I instantly fell in love with it.
His intelligence, his charisma, the crimes, the puzzles, the riddles.
Oh my god it was a rush!
I was officially in love with the character on 1 December 2013 when I realised that I started to take pictures to look cool like he does.
I was only a fan for a month and I was furious trying to theorise how the hell he survived the f-ing fall.
On 1 January 2014 , the first episode of Sherlock season 3 aired.
Just imagine the fans that has watched Sherlock from the first season onwards!
Trust me when I say this, I cried on the first episode when John and Sherlock reunited.
Well, I'm not sure if it's reunion for John but it was touching. Or shall I say , 'Punching'? (Someone save me from these puns)
On the second episode, FLOODGATES.
Just floodgates.
Sherlock Holmes, you gave the best Best Man Speech ever.
Well, I'm not sure if it is the best since it was my first time hearing a Best Man Speech.
But it was awesome with the stag night and all.
"Please forgive my...thing." (Benedict forgot his lines actually)
On the last episode of season 3, I cried a few times. Not floodgates just smooth flowing rivers.
I have to say that it is not as heart-wrenching as The Reichenbach Fall which is perfect!
I don't think I could survive two years waiting for the next season while thinking one of them was depressed for two years(poor John).
Moriarty is back. Oops! Is this a spoiler? No it's not!
If you're a real fan you would have watched the episode already.
I'm not really sure if he's actually back but I do want him to be.
"Did you miss me?" Moriarty said.
"Yes. Yes, I did, Moriarty." I nodded.
I think the last episode of season 3 was fine.
I bet now fans are starting to theorise how Moriarty survived or whether he is alive!
Heck it, why should I lie? I'LL be theorising how Moriarty survived or whether he is alive to begin with!
I think the writers of Sherlock are having a hard time because of these theorising fans they have. Sherlock fans are so smart!
One scroll though tumblr and I see theories after theories after theories!
And for some reason, it makes a lot of sense.
If I were one of the writers for Sherlock, I would be stuck for a while thinking about what to write next since fans are making great stories on their own.
By the way,
I still do not know how Sherlock survived.
It feels like the writers are sitting on the fence , giving us three theories at one time.
But I forgive them because they gave us a fantastic show.
Thank you :)
I slightly came off track actually.
I initially wanted to type out about how my obsessions with these fictional characters has led me to the world of Tumblr which then led me to the world of Migraines.
A few days before term break ends, I started using Tumblr.
And I would just scroll, scroll, scroll and scroll through Sherlock gifs and images on my bed.
Just staring at the screen in my dark room like a maniac.
Which I ended up with migraines, first on the right brain then on the left.
It is an obsession.
Be a fan of Sherlock at your own risk.
